All Star Coffee Mugs

by Mike on July 14, 2009 in Coffee Cups

Tonight, I’m taking it easy and watching the baseball All Star game. I’ll save my comments for why it’s a bit of an oxymoron that the MLB calls it an exhibition game, but it’s promoted as “counting” on Fox. I’d like to just blog about Yankee coffee mugs, but I thought I’d go all crazy and post mugs from all of the teams.

It turned into a bigger blog post than I thought it would be, but it was fun looking at all of the different coffee mugs. The red links are the link the mug on Amazon.

Shouldn’t you display the mugs in the order of divisional standings? For instance, in the AL East, you’d show the Orioles last, the Jays second-to-last, and so on up to the top of the AL East standings …

… and don’t forget about those who want a Rocky Mountain Caffeine High — or have the Rockies sold out their limited-edition 2007 NL Champions mugs?

Happy All-Star Break. And — I think we can agree on this one — GO A.L.!!!!

It looks like the AL might be able to hold on to this lead.

Yeah about the division standings, yeah about that. I’ve got no comeback for that one.

I don’t know what happened to the Rockies. I was using the wikipedia list and looking back, they definitely include the Rockies. I think I got distracted by the game.

Very nice coffee mug selection, I didn’t even know they made All Star coffee mugs that looked that nice.

I can’t stand the Yankee’s one, not that the NY Mets one is any better.

I wouldn’t say they’re specifically made for the All Star game, just wanted to do something to celebrate this weeks game.
