And The Winner Of The Mr. Coffee Keurig Is…

We tallied all of the entries and used Random.Org to come up with lucky number 18, which corresponds to this person’s entry:

Congratulations howard!

i can’t say i ever was pulled into the ocean by a jetliner.
-> do they charge for this?
can’t say i was bumped into the penny filled reflecting pool.
-> did i remember my swim shorts?
can’t say i missed the cops surrounding me.
-> i’m not the bag man!
can’t say i have ever pitted my car at the quick lube shop.
-> the wash drive thru is challenging enough!

but i’ve been a nasty snarly slouch when i forget or
can’t get my java. we don’t want to go there.
i’d love to win this as i have a ton of K-cups and
need more gear to make them mine.
peace with coffee.

The Mr. Coffee Single Serve Keuirg Coffee Maker is a $79.99 value, but howard walks away with one for free.

  1. Well, I would like to know how the Mr. Coffee K-cup machine compares to the Keurig mini. We have the full-size Platinum and love it but would like to get something like the mini or Mr. Coffee for our RV. Seems like not having to remember to dump the water and pump the reservoir empty before travel would more than offset the time it takes the mini to heat the water. BTW I can’t find where anyone has said how long it takes once you pour the cup of water in for it to make a cup of coffee.

    • Pam, I’m going to have to look more into it and see if Mr. Coffee will let me do a review of one.

      • I contacted Mr. Coffee about reviewing one, unfortunately they aren’t offering them for review right now, so I can’t answer your questions. I’ve only tried the Mini and I liked it, so to be on the safe side, I’d stick with the Keurig Mini for your RV.

  2. Congratulations Howard! You’ll have to let us know how you like it. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

    • ok Bill… i will.
      do you have any trial Kcup specials you’d want me
      to sample and report here? i usually can get a few
      light -medium – bold Kcups if i root around.
      1 important qualifier -> i’m not ‘Mike comment/tasting certified’.
      you’re going to get a ‘howard’ taste report.
      i want to go on record!

      also a disclosure – my family does have and uses
      one of the Keurig mini brewers so i can contrast
      the Mr Coffee equipment vs that one.

  3. to everyone;

    i told Mike i am blown away at winning this.
    (really).

    also wanted to thank him and you-all for
    making this a very interesting and informative
    coffee forum. i had better stop before i get
    all misty eyed….. i have to man up for the
    Thanksgiving holidays….
