Barista On Duty Coffee Giveaway

Not only is this Thursday Thanksgiving, but it’s also the man behind Barista On Duty, Johnny Milton’s birthday! Instead of getting presents, he wants to give the present of artisan hand roasted coffee. In fact, to each winner he’s giving away four samples of his coffee.

Kenyan – A Barista On Duty coffee that I haven’t tried, but if it’s like the others, it’s going to be incredibly delicious.

Limu – The taste was a delicate mixture of a wine-like flavor, chocolate and dark cherries. Of the three Barista On Duty Coffees that I’ve sampled, this was my least favorite. But before you think that’s a bad thing, it was actually a really good coffee, the other two were just amazing.

Harrar – A truly incredible coffee and he’s definitely not paying me to say that! It had a very fruity initial taste, then on same sip, it turns more woody and mocha like, with a hint of dryness before it disappeared off my tongue. In the top ten for most flavorful and delicious coffees that I’ve sampled this year.

Yirgacheffe – This was another good coffee. It had a more serious coffee taste full of nuts and spices at first. However, as it hit the middle of my tongue, there was a sweet-fruity wave. When it cooled down, it was almost wine-like.

Every Barista On Duty coffee is pan roasted by hand. You’re not going to find this kind of coffee at any grocery or even most coffee shops.
