Bis*Coffee: Cookies Mixed With Coffee = Awesome?

I don’t think it’s a secret that I love coffee. If I could I would drink coffee 24-7 and eat only foods with coffee in it…oh, what do we have here? It’s Bis*Coffee, cookies influenced by coffee. Interesting indeed, I had to learn more.

Bis*Coffee is shortbread baked with Fair Trade coffee, creating what they promise is a delicious coffee combined with the rich treat of a buttery shortbread. They have three kinds of Bis*Coffee, espresso cappuccino and mocha. It had my mouth watering even before the package containing Bis*Coffee showed up at my door.

Before we go any further, I should note that I’m not an expert food reviewer. My food review skills are pretty simple, but I’m not afraid to share my opinion. So here we go…

I tried the Mocha Shortbread first. It’s baked with Organic Fair Trade Coffee. No mention of where the coffee is from, but I think I will survive without that information about a cookie.

After I took the first bite, my reaction was “mmmmmmm.” It was a delicious cookie by itself, then the mocha coffee flavored mixed in. It was just a hint of mocha, but it made a delicious cookie even more exciting.

Next I tried their Cappuccino Shortbread. It had all natural ingredients, all of which I could identify without the help of Google and could easily pronounce. That’s a huge bonus for me!

This cookie was a little sweeter and had a little bit of creaminess to it. The cappuccino flavor mixed in subtly. One word, scrumptious.

The last one I tried was the Espresso Shortbread. According to the label, it’s also baked with Organic Fair Trade and all natural ingredients.

The cookie flavor was just as delicious as the others, but it’s sweet, espresso flavor is what made it really stand out to me. It’s distinctive espresso flavor made it my favorite.

You can find the cookies at retail stores across the country (they have a search feature on their website). Or you can buy them online starting at $5.49 for a small pack. If you’re thinking holiday gift for the coffee lover on your list, they have a variety gift box that comes with free shipping for $29.99.

Fine Print.

You’re right, these won’t stick around long!

I don’t know, I’ve read some food and restaurant reviews and they can really describe what they’re tasting. Me, I can tell whether it’s delicious or not!

  3. Maybe next year I’ll send everyone a bag of this instead of fresh baked cookies…it will save on calories, that’s for sure.
