First off, welcome to the readers of Woman’s World! Glad to have you stopping by today. Daily Shot Of Coffee isn’t your average coffee blog. Instead it’s a place for average joes and janes to learn more about coffee. You’re more than welcome to hangout and stay for a while. Feel free to leave a comment or check out the archives.

For the regular readers, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. Daily Shot Of Coffee is featured in this week’s Woman’s World in an article about instant coffee. It’s no secret that instant coffee isn’t the same thing as coffee made with freshly ground whole beans, but there’s definitely a time and place for it.

I have to say it was pretty cool to see myself in print, except for that they spelled my last name wrong!

There’s nothing like a good cup of coffee to get you going in the morning, but when you don’t have time to wait for the last drop to drip, these brews will pick you up, in well, an instant.

A Strong Dark Roast

Nescafe Taster’s Choice Gourmet Roast

For coffee reviewer Mike Crimmons (DailyShotOfCoffee.com), this instant was a hit the moment it touched his lips. “I can taste some of the spices and even pick out a few of the regions the beans are from – it’s 100% better than other instant coffees,” he promises. “And it has a very bold, dark flavor, it’s perfect for when your pick and need a quick pick-me-up.”

So make sure you pick up a copy of Woman’s World this week and check out Daily Shot Of Coffee in print.

I’m not usually an instant coffee fan either…but give the new Nescafe a shot.

Thanks Nate! Have to say it was pretty cool, even if it wasn’t a publication that I read very often.

Mike that is really wonderful!! Wow! What great exposure! But for instant coffee I have to recommend Starbucks Via Ready Brew. ;-)

I really have to go for a head to head of the two. When I tried sample packs of the VIA, I thought it was okay. However, when I tried it in the stores, I was seriously disappointed.

Good start! Now get to work.

On a lighter note, congrats Mike that’s awesome!

Thank you! Not exactly the first place where I thought that I’d see my name, but I’m not going to complain. I think it’s awesome!

Hey great Mike & the first mention too, congrats! I stumbled on some Nescafe Instant Espresso, that’s pretty decent(imho). Even a reasonable crema…or simulated crema lol.

This was a very interesting read up on the different instant coffees,I’m more of an avid coffee fanatic and often post of forums, blogs and soical medias such as knowyour coffee.info And even though their instant coffees, sometimes quick and convenient is just as good as a coffee that tastes great but takes a long time to make.
