I have to say I’m really fascinated by the whole coffee-food pairing. It’s something I’ve played around with, but I think there’s so much more that I can explore.

I agree with Rose that it really depends on whether you have the coffee black, with cream, etc.

Thanks for your reply, I’ll be doing some serious reading about coffee and how the roasters blend and mix different batches so hopefully I’ll be able to select which ones may go with what I’m preparing. I’ve fallen for the Harrar coffee recently and hope to find more coffee on this order. It’s so smooth and has a delightful flavor. Appreciate your input. Have a great evening nice to meet you here.

Geri, That's a great question. Coffee is usually served at desert and because I take cream and a tiny bit of sugar in my coffee, it sometimes tastes like it changes the sweetness of my dessert. I think it depends on if you take your coffee black, with cream, with sugar etc. to pair food items properly. Since I am a fanatic for coffee and desert I have a lot of experience with the different tastes. This morning as I was planning our menu for the week thought about how we pair wine with food. Do you know if “coffee enthusiasts” do the same with coffee the black coffee not the flavored coffees? I’d like your input or anyone else who has their opinion. Thanks in advance.

As I was reading a coffee blog and was so into it, I looked up and your blog was sitting on top of the email list like spying on me. Had the feeling you were asking ” Why are you reading another blog and not mine? LOL….see what all this caffeine is doing to me!
I’m getting paranoid ! Is that a side effect? Just wondering or is it a Monday kind of thing? I hope it passes or I’m going to have to stop getting the other coffee blog news and just be loyal to YOU and yours. Time for some “Voodoo coffee” to keep the devils away.
