I wish it were universally true...

I've been a coffee drinker since I was 14. I've also been a cigar smoker since I was 17 (nicotine also being considered neuroprotective). I was diagnosed with Parkinson's at age 45 in 2000.

But I still loves me some coffee! Every morning, my wife and I fire up the espresso maker for a cup of delicious cappuccino.

I may have PD, but it does nothing to stop my enjoyment of a morning caffeinated treat! :)

Mike: thank you for having me as a guest here. I enjoyed it researching something I love!
Bob: yes, I have to talk say that it's not for everyone. But for the healthy person, drinking coffee is better than not! And you're wise to choose good quality coffee. Why waste your allowance on something that's not?

I would say, there are too many coffees and not enough space in my kitchen to keep them all!

Great guest post Nour. Really enjoyed reading it and I think I learned a few things.

I agree Bob, so many great coffees to try and there's more that I see every day.

This is great information. My java for today is Jarbee Seattle Blend and I'm lovin it. I like the way that you stress the health benefits of coffee consumption but you also talk about potential risks. I've limited myself to one large cup of great coffee each morning that I brew from self-ground beans. There are so many coffees, and so little time!

Best,
Bob
