French Press Contest
Thanks to Community Coffee, I have a shiny red Bodum French Press sitting on my counter. I think it would look a lot better on your counter.
If you don’t have a French Press, you’re missing out. I do almost all of my reviews with the French Press, mainly because it creates the most flavorful coffee. With it, I can taste things that I can’t taste with my drip coffee maker. In other words, a French Press is a must have for any coffee lover. Read my review of the Bodum French Press.

I don’t have one, and I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed one!!!! I just accepted a job offer that takes me back into the office (sigh) instead of working at home (where I can brew coffee anytime I want). The coffee sucks at the hospital where I’ll be working, and I will be desperate for good coffee, and I could use this as a coffee lifeline!!!!! NEED NEED NEED NEED NEEEEEED!!!

I need this because I’ve never used one! I’m struggling with that yukky taste that builds up in the drip pots and the coffee I buy keeps getting stronger and stronger and I’m using more and more of it in a brew that I think I’m making double espresso strength coffee just to cover up that nasty taste.
I deserve this press!! Save me from my drip pot before I give myself a heart attack!!

Why? oh thats easy….we are HUGE fans of the french press coffees…its never in our budget to buy a new one after I broke our original one. Honey Bear surprised me by buying a new one and what happened? I set it down, turned around, knocke it down, CRASH!! Broke THAT one! LOL!…so, winning one to give to Honey Bear would be very special for me.

I discovered the wonders of a good French press when I lived in Newport, RI in the early ’90s. My favorite hangout spot on my days off was The Wave cafe which had their own fresh-roasted beans by Ocean Coffee Roasters. The coffee of the day was always something glorious, but if you wanted something other, they’d bring it to you in a French press. I’ve been wanting one ever since, but somehow never got around to acquiring one. What the heck is that about?!

That thing is beautiful. I love my Community Coffee when I can get it. I am from Louisiana and have always drank it, but its a little harder to get here in GA. I have never had any coffee from a french press before, so I think I need this if it can make my coffee (especially Community) that much better. Don’t you agree I am a perfect candidate for this prize? Please, please…

I need this French press because it’s sparkly red and will match all my University of Alabama (National Champs again!!!) gear. Too bad it doesn’t match my Saints gear, though. But hey, between ‘Bama and the Saints, I had a perfect football season. What more could a girl want? ok, a French press.
I was thinking about getting my wife’s brother a french press for his high school graduation and subsequent moving out of the house and into a college far away from home. He is pretty new to coffee and think he might like that one

I am originally from Houma and went to LSU, but am now unemployed in AZ (my position was eliminated in September). I spend 10 to 14 hours each day doing research, re-wrinting resumes, writing cover letters and and thank you letters to all of the jobs I find (nearly 1000 so far!). I go through Community coffee like nobody’s business and a french press would allow me to get so much more bang for my buck from the wonderful Community Coffee my family back in LA are so kind to mail my way. I don’t think I need to tell anyone how important a buck is today, especially when you are unemployed! Please send me the press!

I have come to love Community Coffee over the last two years since being exposed to it. Twice a month I make a special trip to the store just to pick up my supply of New Orleans blend. Seeing as I hve become addicted to chicory coffee and have found after a trip to New Orleans last year that it does taste so much better out of a press. This would make enjoyment of of New Orleans blend so much better. Please award me this beautiful French Press. Thank you.

Ok, so my 88 year old mother-in-law lives with us. She is obviously not passionate about the coffee she drinks, since she buys whatever is on sale in Pathmark – 25 lbs for $3 bucks or something like that! She makes a pot of coffee before I get up in the morning, and I hate it!! I have been looking everywhere for something that I can make 1 cup of coffee JUST FOR MYSELF! I am a new member here and I am already hooked on the coffee/chicory blend. It’s amazing!! This would be perfect for ME, JUST ME!!!

I haven’t lived in New Orleans for sometime. With my hubby being Navy, we are always moving.Living in Maryland, I have to rely on the Community Coffee club to send me the only coffee I will drink. To have something like the French Press from back home would help me bring the Flavor of New Orleans in the right fashion and taste.
I buy CC’s private reserve “flavored” every 2 weeks and I would love to be able to actually taste the unique blends that we drink every morning. I love this French Press and the beautiful red color… Please please let me win the French Press!!!

I grew up in SW Louisiana, but left for college in 1978 and Always, Always, Always pick up a large supply of Community Coffee when we go home for the Holidays. Until Dad passed away, the coffee pot was never off, brewing that lovely Between Roast (or French Roast, if one of us made the coffee). My husband loved it from the first cup! Now I live in Kansas and the only store that carried it stopped carrying it two years ago – so if I cannot get enough at Christmas I either have someone mail me the coffee or order online. Everyone that I have introduced to Community love it and many now order online. I even run into people who, having visited LA, are now hooked on Community!!
This shiny red Bodum French Press would make the best coffee even better, but It would not sit on my counter. I would gift it to my brother who is having serious health issues and is living on next to nothing since he cannot work. He loves his coffee (Community, of course) as much as Dad did. But now he rations it and that ain’t right! No one should have to give up their Community Coffee. This would make his coffee even better – since he lives in Thibodaux, he can find the perfect Community Coffee for any occasion and I would like for him to have the press. And a supply of coffee to go with it will be headed his way!!
I will become a fan on Facebook, since Mom and my teenager introduced me to it and got me set up!
