I hope everyone is having a nice, relaxing Sunday morning. I’ve got my coffee in one hand, the laptop in front of me and a nice cool Florida breeze blowing across my apartment. Anyways, here’s the latest that’s going on in the coffee world. It was another exciting week full of coffee. Everything from cheap (but delicious) coffee, a new undercover Starbucks store and more.

Thank you for the coffee round up. I didn’t know the world’s coffee supply is decreasing. I missed that entirely. I’ve heard that one pound of coffee is equivalent to one coffee tree being harvested, and sourced. One tree = one pound. That’s not very much for one tree! One solution would be for more businesses (coffeehouses, Starbucks, restaurants, …) to look at using more of various ‘pour over’ systems or other ways of making a single cup of coffee for someone without having to brew large batches in brewers. Keep up the great work Mike!

Your welcome for the round up and thanks for leaving a comment.
I’ve heard a similar number for amount of coffee beans per tree. When you think about how much coffee is wasted, it really does start to add up.
