I didn't know the world's coffee supply is decreasing. I missed that entirely. I've heard that one pound of coffee is equivalent to one coffee tree being harvested, and sourced. One tree = one pound. That's not very much for one tree! One solution would be for more businesses (coffeehouses, Starbucks, restaurants, ...) to look at using more of various 'pour over' systems or other ways of making a single cup of coffee for someone without having to brew large batches in brewers.
