No link seen between heart failure and coffee intake
A study over nine years of of 30,000 men in Sweden showed that their was no relationship between daily coffee intake and heart failure. However, the study had “no women, geographically restricted, and probably with limited ethnic diversity” and conflicts with other studies.
Starbucks (SBUX) Begins To Thrash McDonald’s (MCD) In Coffee Wars
McDonald’s took an early in the coffee wars earlier this year with their new McCafes, but now it’s Starbucks that’s coming back reclaiming their title of most coffee sold.
Starbucks to debut decaf instant coffee next month
In case you didn’t hear, Starbucks is going to begin selling Decaf version of VIA Instant Brew on November 17th.

No one gave me the memo on any of these days, but Thursday was “Take Your Mug To Work Day.” Three billion paper coffee cups end up in landfills every year, an easy way to combat this is to use your own mug whenever you can. Some shops will even give you a discount if you use your own mug.
Wolfgang Puck’s Newest Venture: Iced Coffee
World famous chef and tv personality Wolfgang Puck is launching his own line of Iced Coffee Drinks. They say what makes them different from the rest is that “the coffees are sourced from certified organic farms in Ethiopia, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico and contain certified organic and kosher ingredients.”

It’s interesting to see Starbucks getting the top spot back, I wonder what promos McDonalds will roll out to try and combat that.
