Instead of just going with the different look only, going with various names keeps the concept original.

Chameleon@CoffeeBreak September 3, 2009 at 8:30 am: I’ve been following the Yrgacheffe thing since it’s my long-time favorite coffee of all time. Essentially, they’re trying to make Yrgacheffe a brand just like Kona, Colombian and Jamaican Blue Mountain are brands – by raising the standards of coffee that is sold as Yrgacheffe, and setting restrictions on what can be called Yrgacheffe. Of course, the hope is that by associating the name with a higher standard of quality, they can command a premium price for Yrgacheffe coffee. I know that I’m willing to pay more for it!

As far as Starbucks goes, I see their fake neighborhood stores as being similar to fake distressed jeans and fake shabby chic furniture…
