for those of us who want a bio friendly option, the MY KCUP holder is
the way to go. i’ve used mine for many months (almost a year now) and
haven’t had it go South yet.
it seems well designed and workable.
and if it breaks, they aren’t that costly.
I keep forgetting about the My Kcup holder. I’m going to have to grab one of those and try it out shortly.
growing coffee at home
while i’m not sure we all want to do this,
i thought the photos and the related article was
very interesting Mike. the one photo where his
plants had yellowed a bit were most likely
an iron deficiency. also an orchid food might not
be acidic enough for these plants. i’ve tried to
use orchid food on African Violets and found that
a specifically acid pH fertilizer works better.
PLUS – the right pH and they plants flower much more.
which in coffee speak means MORE BEANS.
More means always sounds good to me! I don’t have a lot of spare time right now, but when I do, I plan to grow some coffee. I know who I’m asking all of my ph, growing questions, etc. That’ll be you howard!
Good content you have there! Well, the thought of growing coffee at home hasn’t entered my mind yet. But hey, it is indeed possible to try that approach. I absolutely agree that it might take more time as compared to those growing coffee beans at a larger place. Well, I will think of it. Hehe! Thanks a lot for sharing this!
