I’ve seen this on a few blogs now, but I thought it was so amazing that I had to post it anyways. It’s a a 20 feet by 13 feet portrait of the Mona Lisa and was made with 3,604 cups of coffee. It seems like a case of coffee abuse to me, all of that coffee, loaded with caffeine, was just simple wasted in the name of art.

One coffee shop owner has found away to improve business and to fight back against the big chains like Starbucks, have the baristas wear only bikinis at work. The coffee shop isn’t anywhere near the beach, but that doesn’t stop the employees from wearing bikini and it seems to be improving business, there’s even a plan to franchise it to the United Kingdom. This coffee shop replaced a more traditional one that went out of business in the same location.

They’re saying that the laptop users are abusing the free wifi, buying only a minimal amount of coffee, if any at all. As a semi-regular customer of Starbucks, I think she’s right on the money.

Hawaii is known for their Kona coffee, one of the rarest, most expensive coffees in the world, but now there’s something else in the works – tea. I’m not a big tea drinker, but I would at least like to try it. Adding it to my must try list also.
