Fresh Brews: Playing Nice, Leak Proof Mugs And More
It’s been another overly caffeinated week here at Daily Shot Of Coffee, full of delicious coffees! I hope you had a great week and have many world class coffees headed your direction.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this past week in the coffee blogosphere…
Copious Coffee: Copious Coffee
As an avid coffee consumer, I’ve come across some rude…snobby baristas. I don’t blame them, I’ve seen some customers ask some pretty stupid questions. However, Alex says that the better solution is to strive for a higher ground. Of course, he words it a lot more elegantly than me.
Single Serve Coffee: Stop Spilling Your Single Serve Coffee with the Thermos Stainless King Leak-Proof Travel Mug
I have a lot of issues with coffee in the morning, most of which involve coffee all over my clothes before I’ve even made it to the office. I think it’s safe to safe this is the coffee traveler that I really, really need.
The Coffee Adventures: Review: Yellow Caturra Natural From PTS Coffee.
Looks like Jamie over at The Coffee Adventures found a coffee that has my name all over it. Another one to add to the list to try!
Muddy Dog Roasting Co: Coffee beer review: Long Trail Coffee Stout
Here’s a coffee, I mean beer that I would love to try to try! And as a friendly reminder, don’t forget to check out my craft beer and home brewing blog over at Passion For The Pint.

THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO THE COFFEE STOUT.
first i don’t think they make stout to have a superb
out of here type foamy head
but the size of the bottle is certainly not going to be easy
to hide….. maybe if i left them in the fridge on their sides?
‘….Wish the bottle was smaller….’
I try to avoid putting my beer on the sides, the beer and the cap can cause some pretty bad tastes in beer.
this is in regards to…
‘…Coffee: Stop Spilling Your Single Serve Coffee with the Thermos Stainless King Leak-Proof Travel Mug…’
i totally agree that a real thermos effect no drips at all
mug is my 1st choice for auto/truck travels Mike.
i have found i can’t enjoy brews on the carpet or the floors
of any vehicle i know unless the floor mats have a bit
of sugar in them.
i’d even buy the 8-10 ounce size of this model
if i can find it. that’s more my one cup size in fact.
..
haha! I understand, the coffee on my floors never tastes as good as it did before when it was un-spilled in my mug.
I think I’m picking up one of these bad boys soon.
Thanks for the links – lots of cool stories there. Found two new blogs to keep me busy while I should be working. I guess with all the coffee I drink I have plenty of time to catch up – haha.
My pleasure! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
