Starbucks rolls instant coffee into grocery stores, says sweetened version on the way
It wouldn’t be Fresh Brews without at least a little Starbucks news (or in this week’s case – a lot of Starbucks news). This week, the news is that Starbucks is starting to sell their instant coffee in grocery stores across the U.S. Later this summer keep an eye out for their iced coffee version, which is slightly sweeter. What’s your opinion on the VIA instant coffee?

And in more Starbucks now, the customizable frappuccino is here, just in time for the hot weather. Now you can customize it with whatever kind of milk you want, extra coffee or decaf and a whole lot more. Have you tried one of the new fraps? What did you think? Soon, I’m going to have to do a review to see how it compares to the old version.
Man held in SC over Maine topless coffee shop fire
Last summer a topless coffee shop was burned to the ground. Originally the speculation was that it was someone that didn’t want the business in their neighborhood. Now all signs point to a boyfriend of one of the baristas who was arrested last week. Still no mention of what the coffee tasted like.

BWJ investigates one of the newly renovated Starbucks coffee shops. This one in Soho, New York doesn’t look like the average suburban Starbucks. It uses reclaimed wood, locally manufactured furniture and even has the “for here” mugs.

Thanks for making my “Mother’s day” and everyday so enjoyable with all your entries.
I had a great day yesterday getting that call from my son and watching the golf tournament, reading, etc. Most important had some great ice coffee in my cup. Brewed double strength so when it’s mixed with the other ingredients it’s not watered down. What else can a “Mom” ask for! It’s the simple things like your perfect brew and relaxation that makes for a perfect moment. Looking forward to more days like this. I hope you had a good weekend too. Happy days ahead to all.
