Has Blog: My Wine Library moment
Stephen Leighton, the host of Has Blog and owner of Has Bean Coffee did a Wine Library TV episode with Gary Veynerchuk. I’m a big fan of WLTV, as well as Gary’s business blog. This was a really cool episode and the only thing that would’ve made it better is if they were tasting coffees. Maybe I can get Gary to do that when he let’s me on to his show.

Sometimes, I dream about having a career in the coffee industry…some day. I suppose that I have my foot in the door with this blog, but here’s some basic tips for anyone thinking about coffee career. Hopefully, they write more on the subject. I know it’s something that I would like to read more about.

When I was shopping French Presses earlier, my biggest fear was how fragile some of the models sounded from their reviews. I found a model that had mostly positive reviews, but the Coffee Detective says that French Presses in general make great coffee, but you have to be careful with them because they are made out of glass.

Cruel Coffee Machine Will Taunt You And Make You Jump For Energy
One designer has created a coffee machine that requires you to do the moving to get your coffee. It can be as simple as drag and dropping your virtual ingredients into the virtual coffee cup or require you playing some sort of game to earn your coffee. Cool idea, but way too much for me in the morning.
DC coffee aficionado and former Murky coffeehouse owner Nick Cho arrested for tax fraud
Nick Cho was the man behind two popular coffee houses in Washington D.C. and maybe the face behind the “third wave” of coffee, but now he’s looking at a lot of time behind bar for allegedly not paying his taxes. Hopefully, it’s a big misunderstanding. No one wants to pay their taxes, but c’mon they always catch-up to you eventually.
Victim: Harvard coffee poisoning not an accident.
There’s two things that I won’t mess around with – a person’s money and their coffee. However, someone tainted a coffee machine with a poison that nearly killed six researchers at Harvard two months ago. It’s kind of scary because it could happy to anyone, so I guess the moral of the story is know what’s going into your coffee.
Drink a coffee, see what the future holds
Drink coffee at one coffee shop in Tel Aviv and you can get your fortune’s told. I guess, it’s kind of like how a psychic will read your palms, but instead the barista will read the residue left in your coffee cup. I swear that I’m not making this up.
