The Drink: Ganocafe 3 In 1
Type: Healthy Instant Coffee
Overall Rating: Three Out Of Five Coffee Cups
For the past few weeks, I’ve been trying a healthy instant coffee called Ganocafe, courtesy of Healthy Coffee 411. I started off with the Tongkat Ali, sampled the Mocha last week and tonight I’m taking a look at the 3 In 1. It’s their answer for people that like coffee with sugar, cream and milk.
I’ve been looking at them strictly from a coffee fans perspective, basically because I’m not a doctor and can’t tell you if the the health claims are accurate or not. There’s plenty of other sites with that information and I’ll let you do the research.
I’ll admit I was a little surprised when I took a sniff of the the 3 In 1. It had a pleasing nutty aroma, that almost reminded me of a freshly ground dark roast coffee. I’d get all crazy and say that it’s probably one of the best smelling instant coffees I’ve tried yet.
In the aroma, there was also a layer of sweetness and a layer of the herbal aroma that goes along with the mushroom, the healthy ingredient in this coffee.
I was a little disappointed by the initial sip, it had just a hint of the dark roast taste that I had smelled. Then there was a taste that reminded me of faux sugar mixed with the herbal mushroom flavor.
Luckily, a few minutes later the taste was completely different. It blended together well and reminded me of coffee mixed with cream and sugar. I prefer my coffee black (that’s the next Ganocafe that I’m tasting), but the taste was fairly accurate.
There was a herbal/medicine in the after taste, but it was nowhere near the after taste of the Tongkat Ali that I didn’t like
Overall, if you’re looking for a healthy coffee and like your coffee with cream and sugar, this would be a good alternative. It earned an average 3.0 rating, compared to other instant/healthy coffees I liked it, but the mocha is still my favorite so far.

I have a new feed reader that I am using and I love the way it delivers articles through, this post was a pleasent surprise. Ever since you hooked me up with that variety pack I love anything that might be more then just one flavored coffee.
All though this post wasn’t the type of product I thought it was going to be I still had to jump in and let you know that my Daily Shot of Coffee experience was fabu.

I can’t wait to hear about this new feed reader! What did you think the product was going to be?
I’m not sure what “herbal mushroom flavor” actually means but it doesn’t sound good. Is there actually coffee in this drink or is like Postum? Do you know what Postum is? It was a coffee substitute (hot beverage) from the 60′s and 70′s. It was pretty nasty. They did have some really cool advertisements, so if your ever bored google it.

Hi Rose,
Yes, the Ganocafe is definitely coffee produced from high quality coffee beans. I’m not familiar with Postum but it doesn’t sound very good! LOL! Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks Mike for the review! I was away a couple days and totally missed it!

The mocha sounds pretty good for a healthy coffee.

I took interest in it when I tried some and read that it had reishi mushrooms in it. I have tried to find it on the net…
