Guide To The Starbucks Menu (part 3)

by Mike on May 7, 2009 in Coffee Information

Starbucks FrappuccinoIt’s about that time to switch from hot coffee drinks to beverages that will cool down. Starbucks has a wide selections of Frappuccinos, cold blended coffee or creme drinks that are kind of like a milk shake.

I have to warn you, just writing about all of these delicious sounding Fraps made me go out and buy one. You may be tempted to do the same after reading this.

Coffee Frappuccino – Starbucks coffee, milk and blended with ice. Simple, yet delicious, especially on a hot summer day.

Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino – Coffee, vanilla and milk blended with ice. Whipped cream on top is optional.

Caramel Frappuccino – Caramel combined with coffee, milk and blended with ice. It’s topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce.

Cinnamon Dolce Frappuccino – Coffee, milk and Cinnamon Dolce blended with ice. They top it with whipped cream and Cinnamon Dolce sprinkles.

Java Chip Frappuccino – Coffee, milk mixed with chocolate and java chips, then blended with ice. It’s topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle.

Mint Mocha Chip Frappuccino – Chocolate and spearmint flavor combined with coffee, milk and mocha sauce before it’s blended with ice. They put chocolate whipped cream and mocha sauce on it.

Mocha Frappuccino – No surprise that this is one of my favorites. It’s chocolate, coffee and milk blended with ice. Of course, it’s topped with whipped cream.

Peppermint Mocha Twist Frappuccino – Coffee, bittersweet chocolate, milk and peppermint flavor. It’s topped with peppermint whipped cream and chocolate curls. I haven’t seen this on a menu yet, but I’m on the lookout for it now.

Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino – Coffee, pumpkin flavor, fall spice flavors, all blended with ice. They top it with whipped cream and pumpkin spices.

White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino – Coffee with white chocolate mocha, milk and then blended with ice. Whip cream topping is optional, but I definitely recommend it.

Blended Cremes

Imagine a regular Frappuccino with out the coffee/espresso. Ok, I can’t imagine it, but apparently, they’re pretty popular.

Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino – Combine mocha syrup, Frappuccino chips, milk, then blended with ice. It’s topped with whipped cream and a mocha drizzle.

Mint Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino – Chocolate and spearmint flavor combined with milk, mocha sauce, Frappuccino chips and blended with ice. They top it with whipped cream and mocha sauce.

Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino – Pumpkin and traditional fall spices, mixed with milk and blended with ice. It’s topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spices.

Strawberries And Crème Frappuccino – Strawberries and milk blended with ice, topped with whipped cream.

Tazo Chai Frappuccino Blended Crème – A spicy drink of black tea with cardamon, cinnamom, black paper and star anise blended with ice. They top it whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Blended Crème Tazo Green Tea Frappuccino – Japanese green tea or Matcha (another kind of green tea) that’s sweetened with a hint of melon and mixed with milk. It’s blended with ice before whipped cream is added on top.

Vanilla Bean Frappuccino Blended Crème – Vanilla bean and milk, blended with ice. Whipped cream topping is optional.

If you were curious, a lot of these sound unhealthy, but they do come in lighter versions.
