Happy National Coffee Day!
Make sure to check out the 2011 version of this blog post here!
I don’t know about you, but I think every day should be National Coffee Day…at least it is for me! I also don’t know who (trust me I looked) declared this National Coffee Day, but they should get a pay raise!
To honor National Coffee Day many local and national coffee shops are giving away free and selling discounted coffee. For example, some participating Dunkin Donuts are offering a free cup of coffee and a portion of their sales are donated to Special Olympics. I’m not always a fan of Dunkin’ Donuts, but I’m always a fan of companies doing more to help out good charities like the Special Olympics.
There’s even a Facebook event dedicated to the day. I registered to show my support of this awesome day.
To celebrate the best day of the year, you could buy an official Daily Shot Of Coffee mug or t-shirt.
I plan on celebrating by making some coffee in my french press and taking the time to enjoy it. What are you doing to honor this great day?

Hey Mike I just wanted to stop by and wish you a Happy National Coffee Day, I can only imagine the caffeine induced coma you plan on getting into today.
Enjoy coffee king.
I think I was working on the opposite of a coma…I had so much coffee that I couldn’t stop moving.

Thank you for sharing!
I did not know it was national coffee day until I read it here. I hope you enjoyed some good coffee. I stopped at one of my favorite local coffee shops and got an Ethiopian Harrar to celebrate. They weren’t doing anything there, but the coffee is good.
As long as the coffee is good, that’s all I need to celebrate the day.
I’ve been celebrating for the past 364 days.
Me too!
at least let’s make this morning a great start
to National Coffee Day. Panama Elida rules.
I wish I still had some of that coffee left!
