I am with Hourglass Coffee and no our maker does not create any waste, except for the ground which by the way are great for compost.

It has a stainless steel filter so what you buy is all you will ever need except coffee and water.

Looks like a really useful product. I am an ardent coffee lover and would like nothing better than to dish out cool coffee concoctions by the whim. Would appreciate an indepth review so I can decide on whether to purchase it or not.

That looks like a nice product. I've been looking for a cold brew coffee maker for a while. I might wait till their are a few more reviews on this then give it try.

since i haven't been a really into it cold coffee type of guy
i guess my question concerns whether you can actually
start to drink the brewed COLD coffee pretty quickly?
the systems seem to suggest the user take the
brew and use it as a blend in concentrate for some
systems. that's pushing the concept of fresh a bit more
than i like. but the appeal of a less acid drink does have
merits, especially on an empty stomach.
i try to drink hot coffe when i'm eating as a result.

as to this particular equipment, i guess i love the color.
it looks exactly like the last alien spaceship that
landed on my property a while ago.
and you know what? they DON"T have coffee in
outerspace. the occupants went spaceguynuts
over the Starbucks down the road.

they'll be back...

Hey that looks interesting! The shape looks similar to the Chemix brewer. I always thought of that as designed more for hot coffee than cold. Let us know how you like it.

Does it use any throw away products every time one uses it? Similar to Keurig's K cups so a built in buy-in whenever one runs out of their filters or proprietary products.
