Yep, the price sounds about right. That’s what I have paid for it in the past from another coffee roaster. Well worth the cost though in my opinion.
Jealous… This JBM sounds VERY nice. I have only been sent a few nasty ‘shop floor sweepings’ in the past. It’s amazing how even 100% JBM can be picked and roasted so differently. The C&C brew sounds impressive.
I’m in the proccess of reviewing a Farm grown Kona Peaberry at the mo… will be a hard ship to beat I gotta say.

Just reading your article makes me really want to try the Jamaican coffee. It sounds so good. I usually do not care what type of coffee I drink but hearing you describe that coffee makes me want to try.
I’m always on the lookout for a good cup of joe and this sounds wonderful.

I haven’t tried this coffee from C&C, but had some Jablum Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee back in December. It was very good. From your review of the C&C Jamaican Blue Mountain, I’d say the Jablum had a very similar character. Until trying it, I was very skeptical of the high price in the US for Jamaican Blue Mountain. It’s priced too high for daily drinking, but certainly could be worth it for special occasions or as a treat.
I’m always skeptical about the “elite” coffees and I think I judge them by a higher standard because of that. This was one of the few that really surpassed my expectations. I’ll have to keep an eye out for the Jablum.

There is a whole lot of love in every single bean that we produce. Thanks for the interest in our coffee. We sell roasted as well as a green beans. Our coffee has all the attributes that Blue Mountain Coffee is famous for…the mild flavor, strong aroma, natural sweetness, lack of bitterness and full body (mouth feel). The estate coffees, however, do not consistently deliver these properties. This is so because they get their beans from a number of farmers, and not all farmers are as dedicated to their calling as we are. Thanks again for your interest.
Great news regarding the most over rated coffee that abuses little Luwaks. Have not tasted the latest Bule, but would love too after that review. Will have to import so green bean

As far as the half point, it’s pure judgment call on my part. It’s an amazing coffee, but it wasn’t that perfect coffee.

Great review….This coffee does sound good. I have always been a cream and sugar kind of girl (powdered cream at that LOL), but after reading your posts I feel like I am missing out on so much flavor by adding anything to it. Looks like I may have to try my coffee black soon.
You are missing out! You have to start trying coffees without cream and sugar. I’m sure that you’ll find some that you like.
