New Orleans Saints Superbowl Championship Coffee Mugs

by Mike on February 7, 2010 in Coffee Cups,Coffee Mugs

No one thought that the New Orleans Saints could do it, but they upset Peyton Manning and the Colts to bring the Lombardi Trophy to New Orleans. I’d love to go to New Orleans to help them celebrate, but that isn’t going to happen, so I thought I would share with you the Superbowl Championship coffee mugs.

I was actually pretty confident that New Orleans was going to pull the upset. It was their first time there, and they had an amazing season. They had the whole city of New Orleans rooting behind them, and knowing this was going to be one of the first major good things that New Orleans would be in the news for was a huge motivator. I typically root for the underdog, but just like the year the Giants beat the Patriots, I was sure this year would be an upset as well.

I was pretty sure that the Colts were going to blow them out of the water. In this case, I don’t mind being wrong because I’m a Bears fan and don’t usually root for the Colts. However, it would’ve been better if I hadn’t been only one of three to predict that the Colts were going to win at the part I went to that night. I really got a lot of hell for it afterward.
