Poll: Do You Like Pumpkin Spice Coffees?

This weeks poll question is “Do You Like Pumpkin Spice Coffees?”
Every October, it seems like just about every coffee company and their mother comes out with a Pumpkin Spice drink. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, but I’m not usually a big fan of Pumpkin Spice flavored coffees. However, this year I found at least one that I do like. Review coming next week.
What’s your opinion of them?
Last week’s question was “Do You Drink Your Coffee Black?”
Yes, easily won with 21 votes or seventy percent of the voting. This poll was never close. It seems that I’m definitely not the only one who likes their coffee black.

Usually drink morning coffee black, although I’ve found a few coffees that are nice with 1/2&1/2 or cream. Ir’s kind of an esthetic thing, like sanding down the corners in woodworking-kinda rounds off the sharp edges.
Allen said:
Black exclusively.
However, nine of you did vote no.

Once upon a time there was milk. Then I graduated to half-and-half, then to flavored creamers in my experimental years. Now there is only Coffee Mate World Cafe collection Italian Sweet Creme creamer. I have actually called the company and told them that I might perish if they ever discontinue it!

No black coffee for me I am all about the milk and sugar.
Thanks everyone that voted. This poll had the most responses of a poll yet!

im not fond of pumpkin anything.
I’m not into the pumpkin thing either.
Random thought – Do you like other kinds of pumpkin stuff, like pie?
To tell the truth I’d rather have a slice of pumpkin pie with some lite whipped creme on top along with my black coffee. I don’t think pumpkin spice coffee would go down to easily it sounds too rich. I’m game for the lighter offerings I find. I’ll donate my mug of pumpkin spice coffee to anyone who wants it.
This one really wasn’t too rich, I thought the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte was. That being said if I had pumpkin pie in front of me right now, I’d want a non flavored coffee t go with it.
Im not sure if I would like it or not, I would have to give it a shot. On a side note that picture reminds me of a Friendly’s Reese’s Pieces Sundae
I’m not a big fan of the Reese’s Pieces Sundaes (for obvious reasons), but I could seriously go for any other Friendly’s Sundae right now.
Those pumpkin spice lattes are pretty darn good, when I’m in the mood for some serious sugar intake. But I rarely drink anything like that. Still, pumpkin flavoring can be really good in coffee drinks.
Mike, what do you think about Starbucks Via. I’ve been getting the free packets from the stores when I buy my grande drip and after a few packs, it’s kind of grown on me. I’m sure review are really mixed–cuz it’s definitely not fresh coffee at all–but I’m interested to hear what you think. Maybe a Via video sometime soon?! Just kidding–but I did always enjoy your videos.
Thanks for the compliment on the videos. I think I’m still pretty rough around the edges on them, but I’ve had some people suggest I start doing them on a regular basis.
Yeah, as far as the VIA. I think it’s good for instant coffee. If I was stuck without real coffee that’s what I would want, but overall I’d much rather have the real thing. I think I’m going to do a formal review soon.
Nevermind Mike–just saw your tweet “@shotofcoffee yeah, I didn’t like it at all” – guess that answers my question.
If you like pumpkin coffee try the pumpkin pancake and waffle mix from Trader Joes. Oh my. My neighbor brought me some this morning. I just had eye surgery and she was being so sweet. Well I gotta say they are great. If you are a pumpkin eater, run to Trader Joes and get a couple of boxes. You will be so happy you did.
I wish there was a Trader Joe’s near me! I used to live near several locations now there’s none. I’ll have to keep an eye out for one though.
Hope your recovery from your surgery is going well.
Hi Mike,
I just stumbled across your blog. Thank you for using my photo! I do like pumpkin spiced coffee around the holidays, otherwise I’m usually a cream and sugar guy.
Best regards,
Todd
Great picture Todd! I have a feeling it was a lot of fun to photograph, than drink.
