Poll: How Often Do You Go Out For Coffee?
This week’s poll is “How Often Do You Go Out For Coffee?”
Loading ...On an average week, I head out for coffee once or twice a week. Usually it’s because I’m having a lack of coffee crisis mid afternoon while I’m at work and head over to Starbucks for some relief or I’ll be at a meeting at my favorite coffee house in Tampa, Tres Amici and can’t resist ordering one of their mochas.
What about you? How often do you go out for coffee during an average week. Bonus points for sharing where you usually head for your java fix.
On a side note, this poll will run two weeks because next week I’ll be out of town for a conference about blogging. But don’t worry, I’m already working on some posts for while I’m out of town.

I use a re-usable ( One of those Porcelain “Not a Paper Cup” numbers ), but it’s just to transport coffee I made at home when commuting to the office and vice versa at the end of the day. It’s nothing to do with the environment.
Coming in a close second, with 38% of the vote was sometimes.

I do not carry a reusable mug around with me, but then again I never get coffee anywhere except my kitchen cabinet.
I do however have reusable mugs to carry my wonderful coffee around with me when I am on the go.
And no came in last place with just 17% of the vote. That’s good to know that most of us are trying at least somewhat to avoid using single use paper and styrafoam cups.

About once a week when I’m too lazy to make it myself. I usually end up going to Peet’s, mostly because all my other local options don’t compare. When I’m traveling, I like visiting local coffee shops if I can find them. Otherwise, it’s Starbucks.
I really never do. The last time I did it was a year or so ago — there’s a local coffee house that has really weird college kids and awful coffee. . . good times.
For Christmas, I was given a 20 dollar Starbucks card but I’ve yet to use it even once. . . really should do something about that.
I go through phases of going out for coffee. Lately it’s been about four times a week, but then there will be periods where it’s once every couple of weeks. The weather is nice, so I guess I’ve been out more. I’ve also been trying out all the independent coffee shops here in Brooklyn. Most of them carry Stumptown brand coffee, but there are a few that carry other brands. It’s been fun trying them all out.

I always enjoy your polls Mike. I work in downtown Seattle, so I am surrounded by coffee. I guess I’m out for coffee five days a week, and believe it or not, I skip it more often on the weekends and just make coffee at home. By the way, I like the photo for this blog post – The Intelligentsia coffee house. Where is that photo? Which store of theirs? Nice pic.

It’s one of their locations in California. I was hoping to stop by one of their Chicago locations last week, but just ran out of time.

Most of my coffee drinking is from home and if I go out I often take a mug full so I never suffer from the lack of it. There are times like the other day out shopping a McDonalds was close by and I craved a frappe something cold so I tried their caramel flavored one and it was very good a nice strong coffee flavor not watered down. I’ll do it again or go to one of the Starbucks. It’s a nice treat something that I enjoy once in a while.
I usually just grind a fresh batch of espresso right at home, but go out about 1-2 times a week. The better I get at making espresso’s and cappuccino’s why not brew up as much as I want…lol.
But Starbucks or Peet’s coffee is who I go for.
