Poll: Pick Your Roast?

This week’s poll is “Pick Your Roast?”

What’s your first choice? Dark, medium or light roast?

I go back and forth. I like the light roasts because they tend to pack in a lot of flavor, but for every day drinking I’d rather have a medium roast. I’ve had a handful of good dark roasts, but I’ve had way too many that just tasted over roasted and burnt.

The experience of taste, dark rich, the smell, even how it looks in the cup! It satisfies, it’s the thing I first want in the morning, and it’s a companion through most of the day. Second, I honestly love how it makes me feel, awake, alive, ready, alert, good mood, primed to take on the day. Sometimes a small cup in the evening at peaceful moments. Nothing does more for my mood then the smell of coffee in the morning. I let the aroma sweep around me like a blanket, covering me with it’s luxury, it’s completely satisfying.
