Poll: What Type Of Coffees Do You Want Reviewed?

This week’s poll question is “What Type Of Coffees Do You Want Reviewed?

You can choose more than one answer!

Gourmet/Specialty Coffee: This is what I’ve mostly been reviewing over the past few months, not that I’m complaining. I was curious if you would like to see me continuing to review these top shelf coffees or if you’d like a little bit more variety.

Grocery Store Coffee: I actually went out and bought a couple of different kind’s of coffee that I found on the shelf at my grocery store. I give grocery store coffee a hard time, but I’m curious if there’s any that’s drinkable.

Coffee Shop Drinks: This would be everything from Starbucks drinks to doing more coffee shop reviews. There’s a lot of local coffee shops in the Tampa area that I’m planning on hitting up soon, but I’d like to to know what you’d like to read about.

Coffee From Other Places: I see coffee being sold at gas stations, fast food places and other places that aren’t coffee shops. I would be curious if there’s any place that has drinkable coffee for that caffeine fix when I’m on the road.

Last week’s question was “How Much Do You Spend Weekly On Coffee?

The results were the most spread out and even of any poll that we’ve had yet.

Twenty-six percent of people said they spend up to $5 a week on coffee. I need you to tell me how it’s possible to spend that little on coffee a week! That would be a huge savings for me.

Then, there were three choices, $5-$10 a week, $10-$20, or $20-30, each with twenty-two percent of the vote.

One person spends between $30-$50 a week, I’m not sure if I’m worthy enough to stand in your presence. I’m sure I’ve spent that much on coffee in a week, but it’s not too often. I wish I could spend that much on an average week.

Someone voted nothing. Either they don’t spend any money on coffee or they don’t drink any coffee at all. If it’s the first choice, please share with the class how you do that!

No one here spends more than fifty dollars a week on coffee, I guess that would be a tad bit excessive.

I voted for grocery store coffee. It’s the stuff I’m most likely to buy, because I can usually find something tasty enough to drink that way; and because I’m not going to start in on any flavored coffees until I’ve tried brewed plainly every variety of coffee I can afford, and probably not even then.

Pretty good poll this week Mike, I would have to say that it really doesn’t matter what product your reviewing, it exposes me to coffee I haven’t considered trying before.

I would actually like to find more opinions on coffees grown in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. I know Ecuador and Peru are a bit under the radar but there are good farms once you sift through and Bolivia has a CoE program going … I just a lot of potential from these places.

Anonymous Coffee Drinker – I had a few more grocery store coffees suggested to me this weekend, so pretty soon I’ll be writing about them.

Extreme John – Thanks glad I can help you expand your coffee knowledge.

Luis – Thanks for the tips on those, I’m definitely going to see if I can’t find some coffees from those places. It’s sparked my curiosity.
