Poll: Where Do You Get Your Daily Coffee?

by Mike on May 2, 2009 in Polls

Starbucks Drive ThruThis weeks poll is “where do you get your daily coffee?”

I work from home 90 percent of the time, so I usually just brew my own coffee. Traffic is a mess where I live, otherwise, I’d probably go out and get it more often from Starbucks. Although, I’m pretty happy with just making my own pot of coffee in the morning. I love making it however I want and without having to deal with long lines and other people first thing in the morning.

I was really excited about all of the answers that the poll received last week, thirty people voted. I appreciate everyone that voted, but let’s get more votes this week!

Eleven people or 37 percent of you drink only one or two cups of coffee a day. It’s a good start, but I really don’t know how that’s enough to get you through an entire day.

Coming in a close second, 10 people or 33 percent of you drink three or four cups a day. Now, we’re talking. You’re my kind of people!

Six people or 20 percent voted that they drink a lot of coffee. You’re definitely the kind of people that I can relate to. This was almost my choice, but I ended up voting for five or six cups per day.

I’m very disappointed, only one other person chose five or six cups per day with me. C’mon it’s a good number of coffees per day, I know we can’t be the only ones.

Then, one person voted that they drink zero cups of coffee per day. I’m afraid you might be on the wrong blog. Just joking, glad to have you here and that you voted.

Thanks to everyone that voted and thanks to everyone that stops by and reads my blog. It really means a lot to me!

I always make my own. Convenience coffee is something I drink only if I am travelling or otherwise away from my own means for an extended period.

My coffee is both better and cheaper.

My coffee is definitely cheaper, however I’m still working on the better part.

Thanks for answering so quickly.

I brew my own at home – that way I always know how fresh it is, and where the coffee came from. I roast my own at least a couple times a week, too – you don’t know heaven till you’ve had fresh-roasted coffee, ground just before you brew it. Okay, maybe you do – but not my kind of heaven!

Learning to roast coffee is on my to do list, but there’s lots of things before it.

I usually just make my own coffee…it’s what I prefer.
I get it from a place in NYC called Porto Rico.
I like a Colombian espresso blend they have called Aggie’s. I often mix it with a couple of tablespoons of hazelnut and brew it in my Faberware. I’ve tried various drip machines, but they never seem to yield a cup that is as piping hot in the way that the Faberware does.

If it’s a regular work day, I’m easily drinking 4-5 cups a day (a mix between regular, espresso and cappucino)

I never drink decaf. I don’t like the taste of it. If I’m going to lay off the caffeine, I opt for a cup of Yogi tea.

I think I’ll have to try mixing in some hazelnut, next time I brew some coffee. That’s sounds like a really good way to make things more interesting. I’ll have to keep an eye for a Faberware, now you have me curious.

As far as the amount of coffee you drink and the never drinking decaf, I agree with you one hundred percent.
