I think I’ll have to try mixing in some hazelnut, next time I brew some coffee. That’s sounds like a really good way to make things more interesting. I’ll have to keep an eye for a Faberware, now you have me curious.

As far as the amount of coffee you drink and the never drinking decaf, I agree with you one hundred percent.

I usually just make my own coffee…it’s what I prefer.
I get it from a place in NYC called Porto Rico.
I like a Colombian espresso blend they have called Aggie’s. I often mix it with a couple of tablespoons of hazelnut and brew it in my Faberware. I’ve tried various drip machines, but they never seem to yield a cup that is as piping hot in the way that the Faberware does.

If it’s a regular work day, I’m easily drinking 4-5 cups a day (a mix between regular, espresso and cappucino)

I never drink decaf. I don’t like the taste of it. If I’m going to lay off the caffeine, I opt for a cup of Yogi tea.

Learning to roast coffee is on my to do list, but there’s lots of things before it.

I brew my own at home – that way I always know how fresh it is, and where the coffee came from. I roast my own at least a couple times a week, too – you don’t know heaven till you’ve had fresh-roasted coffee, ground just before you brew it. Okay, maybe you do – but not my kind of heaven!

My coffee is definitely cheaper, however I’m still working on the better part.

I always make my own. Convenience coffee is something I drink only if I am travelling or otherwise away from my own means for an extended period.

My coffee is both better and cheaper.
