Rocketfuel XXX is a combination of three of the best tasting coffees in the world – Jamaican Blue Mountain, Hawaiian Kona and Sumatran. Rocketfuel Coffee brings them together for a delicious tasting coffee that’s full of flavor in every sip.

The RocketfuelCoffee.Com website describes it as a full city roast, but instead of tasting like a medium roast, it feels more like a dark roast to me, except with a whole lot more flavor than the regular dark roast. If you like dark roasts, but want more excitement for your taste buds, this is a coffee worth checking out.

From the first sniff, a darker roast smell hit my nose. In the aroma, was a mix of spices, nuts, cinnamon and a floral feeling.

The taste had a smoky feel to it, like a Starbucks roast, but with much more flavor in every sip. A buttery-nutty taste dominated my tongue. Included in the flavor were hints of cocoa and a slightly earthy taste.

One of the things that stood out the most, was just how smooth of a coffee it was. There wasn’t a drop of bitterness.

The after taste was down right soothing, it was warm, nutty and made me want to keep filling my cup up with more all morning long.

The first time I brewed Rocketfuel XXX, it was okay. If it wasn’t for my internet connecting being iffy last night, that would’ve been the review. Luckily, I had a chance to brew another pot this morning and I must have done something different, because the second helping changed everything. It went from a 3.5 out of 5 coffee cup rating, to an easy four out of five rating.
