Seattle Blend From JarBee Coffee Review

The Drink: Seattle Blend From JarBee Coffee
Type: Ground Blend
Overall Rating: 3.5 Out Of 5 Coffee Mugs

Tonight, I’m staying warm (yes, it’s actually cold in Florida for once) with the Seattle Blend From JarBee Coffee. It’s a blend of Indonesian and Colombian beans and is there number one selling blend. But even more importantly woke me right up after a long day at work.

Seattle Blend has a strong, but not what I would call dark roasted aroma. It caught my attention right away and made my heavy eyes perk up. Overall, it had a nutty aroma with hints of Golden Grahams, yes the cereal.

The aroma caught my attention, but the bold taste woke me up. It had a strong-heavy taste that weighed down my tongue and couldn’t be missed.

It had a dark roast flavor that was a nut and wood mix. I picked up a thin layer of chocolate in it.

The back end had a darker taste with a tiny bit of charcoal flavor mixed in.

It was a delicious coffee even if it was darker than what I usually drink. Overall, it was very drinkable and a must try for for anyone that loves a medium or dark roasted coffee. On the Daily Shot Of Coffee scale, it was an easy 3.5, which is an above average rating.

Have you ever tried the Seattle Blend from JarBee Coffee? I know at least a few Daily Shot Of Coffee readers got some for free earlier in the year when JarBee gave away free coffee to the newsletter readers. What did you think of it?

Mike I’ve never heard of JarBee coffee. And I’d have a hard time taking seriously a coffee with a logo like that! LOL. How did you prepare the coffee? French press, drip brewer, or something else? I would also be suspicious of a coffee that comes pre-ground. Did you have the chance to try a whole bean version that you then freshly grind?

That’s almost as bad as judging a book by it’s cover. Plus, I kind of like the logo.

Since it’s ground, it gets tested in the drip coffee maker. I prefer whole bean coffee of course, but I understand how it’s not always feasible for a coffee roaster to provide that for review all of the time.

    Hi Mike,
I totally enjoyed it, the first thing I noticed how it filled my mouth with a creamy like viscosity. The “v” word sounds like it goes with car oil but not this time! Enjoyed the nice roasted deep flavor and did not experience any bitterness at the end. Plan on having it again after downing the nice gift.

detected a bit more charcoal in the free batch
which they sent me than i’d prefer.
does Jarbee have an organic sourced product?
when i ran a site search on their webpage,
it came back ‘…Your search for “organic” did not yield any results…’
