by

Who wants a single serve coffee maker and some K-Cups? J.M. Smucker, the maker of Folgers and Millstone coffee want you to try their new line of K-Cups and if you’re going to try their K-cups, you’re going to need a Keurig brewing machine, so they threw in one of those too.

Their new K-Cups include Millstone Breakfast Blend, Millstone Hazelnut Cream and Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk. My favorite and maybe the best K-Cup that I’ve tried yet (review coming later this week) was the Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian. This is the K-Cup that made me wake up and look past all of the stereotypes about Folgers that I previously had.

The Keurig Single-Cup brewing system allows consumers to make one perfectly brewed cup of coffee one at a time. For more information on Keurig visit www.keurig.com.

My best “tips and tricks” to manage a hectic morning include making a “master list” of stuff to do and check things off (e.g., “take vitamins”, “take out garbage”, “brush teeth”, -yes, I really am pretty clueless first thing in the am!)
I pre-measure coffee in a filter so it’s ready to go: coffee is the absolute first thing I need in the morning.
I hope this giveaway is open to Canada!

  2. Linzy says:

Every morning I sit and drink my coffee while checking my email and making my list of what needs to get done that day. If I don’t have that time my day feels so unorganized. Yay for coffee!

  3. suzanne k. says:

my best trick is to just get everything done the night before, no matter how late that makes me go to sleep.

  4. Craig says:

My best trick is to have a routine, and follow it every day. Always leave wallet, keys, phone in the same place, etc. Then it’s just a matter of stopping at all the stations and picking up what I need.

  5. Joe says:

Hectic morning? I sip my #coffee through it. Then I’m ready to face everything. Well I guess I sip coffee before the morning starts, then once it starts, then …

  6. Donloree says:

I always have my coffee set out and ready to go; that helps EVERY morning. For hectic mornings I try to schedule things out the night before so I can get up, grab, and go. :)
A Kuerig would make the coffee making so much simpler and less time consuming than grinding, measuring, boiling, and pressing. :)
    Fresh coffee NOW sounds fabulous.

  7. Matt Tharp says:

Americanos make a fantastic quick coffee solution.

  8. Donna says:

    Wake. Add coffee. Stir.

  9. Natalie J. Vandenberghe says:

I get up before everyone else does and enjoy a cup of hot coffee in solitude. That sets the tone for my morning. Unfortunately, my coffee pot doesn’t make good, hot, coffee anymore–which is why I’d love to win this contest.
    Thanks for the giveaway.

If my morning is really hectic, I just go back to bed and try again later.

My best tips for making for a less hectic morning include-
1, Renting a wife who will have breakfast made, the kids up and the laundry done.
2.Make a list of everything you have to do the night before and post it on your front door. You get points if you remember you made a list the next morning and ten points if you actually do something on the list.
    3. pack lunches the night before…You get points if everyone takes their lunch and takes the right lunch.
4 Everyone make it to their destination ??? Reward yourself with your “daily shot of coffee”, you made through another hectic morning!

  12. Lewis F says:

I keep my coffee beans a room temperature, not in a refrigerator.

  13. GD Blooger says:

I manage a hectic morning by preparing as much as possible the night before, and always leaving an extra 5 minutes in my schedule to “relax” (a/k/a play on the computer, watch a segment on the Today Show, etc.).
