Starbucks Coffee Mug Giveaway

by Mike in Coffee Contests

Thanks to Cate.TV, I have five Starbucks coffee mugs sitting in the Daily Shot Of Coffee kitchen that are looking for a home. They represent Starbucks in five cities: Boston, Chicago, New York, Phoenix and Venezia (Venice).  They each have an artistic design with the name of the city and the city skyline. The coffee mugs look great, would be perfect in any coffee mug collection and I really wish that I wasn’t giving them away so that I could keep them for myself.

How To Win

To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment about which coffee mug you’d like and why.

Get a bonus entry for retweeting this message:

Win a free Starbucks Coffee Mug from Daily Shot Of Coffee http://ow.ly/1E5q0

Or sharing it on Facebook. Please leave a comment with a link to your Facebook share so that we can tally the entry.

The Fine Print

All entries must be received by next Tuesday, May 4th at 11:59 pm.

Contest only open to residents of the United States. My apologies to the rest of the world, but shipping costs are just too high.

Five winners will be chosen at random.

Good luck everyone!

I would like the Phoenix Mug. Why? Because it’s a dry heat, not a regular 120 degree heat……Thanks, and bottoms up!

Extreme John April 28, 2010 at 3:45 pm

I’m just excited to see CateTv and yourself putting some good stuff together, nice.

Venice, because I’ve wanted to go there forever. It’s a magical city and even though I haven’t visited it, I’ve dreamed about being there.

Venice is beautiful… Boston is historic… Phoenix is hot… Chicago is windy… BUT NEW YORK IS MINE!!!!!!!! :-)

C’mon, help out a Long Island girl, Yankees/Rangers/Giants fan… living in the south…! (can you relate to any of that?!)

jodi April 28, 2010 at 5:12 pm

In true NY fashion… I spoke quickly. In true southern hospitality, I’ll add, “thank you.” :-)

Suzanne April 28, 2010 at 6:24 pm

Not Phoenix; I hear they racial profile there.
Not Chicago; that city is indelibly linked to that sad break-up movie in my mind.
Not Boston; been there, done that.
Not New York; I could get one there myself.
So Venezia it is! Since everytime I order a venti or a macchiato, I always say Grazie a tutti – and people look at me like I’m speaking a foreign language or something…

I would enjoy the Chicago mug because, every morning with a cuppa, I’d be reminded of the greatness that it is to cheer for the Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks!

Why would I love to win this? Well, 1) I have never won ANYTHING and 2) I love Boston, through and through.

I am a New England girl and Boston has my heart. I have been searching for the Boston Starbucks mug forEVER. I have been to Starbucks in Boston a few times; every time I visit, they are sold out or missing or someone doesn’t know where they exist. I have been looking, high and low, for this mug to add to my collection. I think the Starbucks mug for Boston is exquisite. It’s a gorgeously-designed mug that would be the perfect addition to my collection. No matter where I moved to, it would remind me where I came from and what I loved. I would enjoy my morning coffee or tea 10x more out of this type of mug. :)

I would love the Boston cup…I live in Boston and have been looking for that mug for a while now and cannot seem to find it. I know people usually equate Seattle with coffee but Boston is a great place to drink a cup of coffee, partly thanks to our beautiful weather. The Boston cup would go great in the morning with my french press :)

LatteRose April 28, 2010 at 10:02 pm

Ooh, the Venice mug! It’s been 25 years ago since I was there, loved it!! Venezia!

You can see my share on my FB wall, of course, I tweeted about the giveaway too.

I just love to collect coffee mugs and enjoy drinking a great cuppa joe out of a fun new mug, although my old favorites get a lot of use too.

Cheers,

Ardee-ann

Forgot to add that I prefer Boston because my visit there many years ago was almost magical. I’d love a coffee cup that revives the memories.

Ciao!

Steve H April 28, 2010 at 11:52 pm

My all time favorite would be Venice because I like collecting mugs from exotic locations. My second favorite would be Boston because I was there a few years ago and completely missed out getting a mug!

Carol C April 29, 2010 at 9:03 am

I’d love to win the Chicago one as reminds me of all my visits to the city when I was in Nursing School and College in the western suburbs of Chicago. I could also go for the New York one to remind me of visits there and I love the New York Yankees.

Alyssa April 29, 2010 at 10:23 am

I didn’t see if they make them or not but I’d love an Ontario or Ottawa mug! They all look great!

Venezia – most defnitely. Why? Because my 89 (to be 90 in August) Mom still talks about what a great time she had there with my late father. She says that if she had the money she’d take another trip there. So why should I want that mug? Because I would give it to her and let her have her morning coffee in it every day!

Vicki April 29, 2010 at 2:45 pm

I want the Phoenix mug because I will be visiting there this weekend!

howard April 29, 2010 at 4:10 pm

this is too easy Mike.

it would have to be the ‘Venezia (Venice) mug’
people in the office would think i actually
battled volcanic ash on my flight and enjoyed Starbucks
in Italy.

[even though i couldn't locate a store
or coffee shop on their website with
any certainty it would be a very 'Yankee
go home' thing to most coffee loving Italians.]

New York. I hear their coffee is special because if you can make it there you can make it anywhere.

Bill May 2, 2010 at 2:09 pm

I would like to win Boston or New York (you can chose which one). I am not near either city now, but both have special meaning to me and my family.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Appreciate your blog.

Sara May 4, 2010 at 3:07 pm

I love these mugs, they are the perfect size for my morning coffee. I would love the NY one! I have only lived on the east coast for a short time, and have yet to make it up to the big apple.

Carolyn May 4, 2010 at 7:07 pm

I would love to have the Phoenix one because I love coffee; we just moved to Phoenix and love it here; and hubby loves skylines!

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Hi, I’d like the Venezia mug just because it seems more exotic, and I’ve never lived in any of the other locations.
