The Drink: Holiday Jazz From Community Coffee
Type: Ground Medium-Dark Roast
Overall Rating: 3.5 Out Of 5 Coffee Cups

Holiday Jazz from Community Coffee seemed like the best coffee to write about today, however I really wasn’t sure what exactly to expect as far as the coffee. The description on their website was brief, but this coffee ended up being a perfect way to start off the holiday festivities.

Holiday Jazz had a floral aroma, like I walked past a flower shop and got just a hint of the flowers inside. There were subtle scents of melons and chocolate mixed in.

The aroma was pleasant, but the taste is what really stood out on this coffee. It had an interesting, intricate flavor. The flavor felt like it was popping off of my tongue.

The dark roast controlled the flavor, but it wasn’t overwhelming. It had a delicious nutty flavor. Mixed in were small hints of spices, citrus and fruits.

Holiday Jazz is the perfect coffee the holiday get together, it’s a coffee that all sorts drinkers could like. From what I’ve read it’s only available around the holidays, it should be available year round if you ask me. An easy 3.5 out of 5 on the Daily Shot Of Coffee Scale.

Disclosure time: Community Coffee sent me this coffee for free, but the opinions are mine. If I didn’t like the coffee, trust me I would let you know!

The Drink: Bread Pudding From Community Coffee
Type: Ground Flavored Coffee
Overall Rating: 3.25 Out Of 5 Coffee Cups

Flavored coffees that imitate foods are definitely hit and miss, Bread Pudding from Community Coffee was a hit to my tongue.

Walking back into the kitchen after it brewed, a strong, but likable cinnamon aroma filled my nose. Closer inspection revealed a sweet sugar like aroma with a touch of vanilla. It’s been several years since the last time I had Bread Pudding and this brought back memories.

The taste was darker than I expected. I wouldn’t have complained if it was slightly more sweet, but it was still very drinkable.

The coffee had a strong cinnamon flavor, with hints of sugar, vanilla and maybe even some raisins. However, there’s a good chance that might just be my tongue playing tricks on me.

The after taste was smooth, relaxing and I tasted raisins there.

It was slightly bitter, but nothing that really slowed me down.

Overall, another good flavor from Community Coffee. It earned a 3.25 out of 5 rating, which is above average on the official Daily Shot Of Coffee rating scale. Bread Pudding probably isn’t for everyone, but if you like the food version or like flavored coffees in general, it’s worth checking out.

And on that note, I’m off to find some recipes to make some bread pudding.

Disclosure: Community Coffee sent me the Bread Pudidng without charge. Technically, they didn’t even send it to me for review purposes. However, I reviewed it anyways and the opinion above is my opinion, uninfluenced by them.
