I am using the Zojirushi Tuff Travel Bottles & Mugs for my coffee. Its a very good investment for coffee lovers.

I have tried the Sipp but can’t say it’s as good as this one:

One more thing that you can’t forget for all travel mugs and thermoses is that they should be pre-heated with hot or boiling water for about a minute before pouring your coffee into them. It will keep your coffee hot for many more hours!
Here’s a combined coffee-maker / travel mug that will hopefully be available for purchase in the near future:

Wow! Very cool.
Let us know when it does become available, we’ll look into it for sure.
Thanks
Klean Kanteen insulated mugs are the way to go if you want to keep you coffee or tea hot for 5-6 hours and don’t need it to be completely leak proof. They will keep beverages cold all day and then some.
Joemo travel mug. Only keeps coffee really hot for a little over an hour but my coffee never lasts longer than that anyway. These are the most comfortable travel mugs I’ve found to drink out of and the push-button lid design is perfect if you happen to be a bike commuter. The lid seals up tight and is virtually spill proof, I’ve carried it in panniers and backpacks without leaking.
I actually bought my husband the OXO a while back and it works pretty well. It’s so hard to find a good mug that actually keeps your coffee hot AND fits in the beverage holder in the car!
Jenn, that is a very rare combination with travel mugs. But is it spill proof?
Oh boy, I really need to get me one of these. There is ONE coffee shop around me, and the disposable cups they use are atrocious. I end up getting 3rd degree coffee burns everyday. A travel mug would be perfect, cheers!
I’m in love with my KeepCup. Sure, it’s plastic (BPA free though), but I’ve had mine for 2+ years now and it doesn’t affect the taste of my coffees.
Like Ian, my favorite are ceramic. I don’t enjoy drinking from plastic and metal. bleeekkch.
my family has had great success with the Contigo line. my supreme test of any coffee cup or travel mug is on the floor of the car or truck where we are…if it doesn’t break or leak in an accidental fall, then it’s gold.
this line (ones we have owned) pass that test.
i’m very happy with it.
in a past post i did mention that the complex dispensing part of the Contigo lid needs a bit more attention to be cleaned but that’s not difficult.. just soak and machine wash.
My favorite travel mugs are the ceramic ones. True, they won’t keep my coffee warm for 7 hours, but my coffee doesn’t last that long anyways! And I enjoy the warmth in my hands as well.
Reheat? Isn’t the point of a tumbler to keep it hot in the first place? Reheating coffee completely changes and ruins the taste.
I agree 100% Kim.
