The best coffee artists turn a simple and tasty latte into a memorable work of art. Latte art lasts briefly due to the way that crema and microfoam interact, but it remains one of the best things to see in morning coffee. A number of people around the world have dedicated themselves to different versions of this new and exciting media, garnering mixed levels of acclaim for their variety and skill. Some of them work on the coffee itself – others use the coffee itself as a tool, creating masterpieces on canvas.

Karen Eland

Karen Eland has been painting since childhood, but at the age of fourteen, she decided to go into art as a career. She enjoyed her coffee in a nearby coffee house, enjoying the company of other locals with her nutmeg enhanced black coffee. She continued to enjoy coffee when she moved to Tulsa, enjoying high-quality espresso. She soon decided to use it as a medium, as a break from using watercolours, oils, and pencils.

She learned to be a barista while she focused on her art career. She usually listens to audio books as she works. Karen loves the process of art creation and received a lot of positive feedback in her youth.

Dave Wodnicki

Dave Wodnicki is another coffee person who has made the leap from “morning jump-start” to “art medium.” It is a routine for him, one that grew into a hobby. He eventually began to learn more about coffee through other coffee enthusiasts, allowing him to enjoy better coffee through careful bean selection and preparation.

Dave began to use it as a medium after he learned more about it. He first began by writing about coffee, an act that came from his intense love of coffee. His art began when he made a simple poster about coffee for use where he worked. He then could not stop using coffee in his art and in many things he does. He even creates coffee-themed art.

Mira Chudasama

Mira is an artist and a designer by trade. She makes more than paintings, creating web sites, brands and logos as part of her job. She was born in India, in the town of Mahuva. Her childhood was filled with art competitions. She frequently succeeded at these contests due in large part to tutelage from her older sister.

She has always viewed art as per profession. She is a dedicated coffee artist, one that has a degree is Business Management. She also studied at a college of art, though she first learned from her older sister.

Coffee art is a fantastic art, unique in each country but universally enjoyed. It first came from the development of microfoam and the espresso. This art was first developed in Italy but it quickly spread throughout the world as more and more people realized what they can do with their coffee. It is a steadily rising trend and coffee lovers around the world hope that it continues to rise and becomes a constant and everlasting part of their coffee lives.
