Tomorrow Is Iced Coffee Day At Dunkin Donuts
by Mike on April 20, 2009 in Coffee News
At Dunkin Donuts tomorrow, April 21st you can buy an iced coffee for fifty cents and for every drink purchased at that price, they’ll donate five cents to Homes For Our Troops.
Home For Our Troops is a great organization, they build specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans and Dunkin Donuts promises a minimum donation of $100,000.
But…you won’t see me there.
Instead, I’ll be making my own iced coffee and donating money directly to HFOT.
It all goes back to the numerous times that I’ve driven away from DD pissed off and irritated. You can read all about my reasons in this rant, I mean blog post.
Sure, I’m missing out on cheap iced coffee, but I’ll survive. Ok, I might be missing the taste of their iced coffee a little bit, but I just think of the poor customer service and I quickly remember why I’m boycotting Dunkin Donuts.
Either way, I hope everyone to stops by Dunkin Donuts tomorrow and buys an iced coffee or makes a donation directly to Homes For Our Troops. It is a good cause and I do have to admit that Dunkin Donuts is doing a great thing by helping them out.
Click here to visit the Homes For Our Troops website and make a donation directly to this organization.
