Top Ten Coffee Recipes Of 2009

by Mike on December 29, 2009 in Coffee Recipes

I’ve been drinking coffee for many, many years now. But this was the first year where I really explored cooking and making things with coffee. The results have been delicious and I’m really looking forward to testing out more recipes in 2010.

10. Jameson Irish Coffee
You can’t go wrong with Jameson and coffee, unless of course you put too much Jameson in it.

9. Coffee Jello
One of the most unique coffee desserts that I’ve seen yet. It was delicious and I think I have the makings for another, so I might be working on that later tonight.

8. Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans Recipe
This recipe combines two of my favorite things – coffee and chocolate – can’t go wrong with that.

7. Low(er) Fat Coffee Brownies
I’ve tried a few coffee brownie recipes, but this was my favorite and it’s semi-healthy.

6. Coffee Encrusted Steak
A really easy and really delicious recipe for making coffee on the grill.

5. Caramelized Coffee Chicken
I know you’re probably thinking – coffee, chicken, what? But this recipe is must try!

4. Coffee Burgers
I love making burgers on the grill and I’ve tried a lot of different non-coffee recipes. This one beats just about all of them hands down.

3. Mocha Coffee Cake Recipe
I stand by my original statement: “If you’re a coffee fanatic, this is the birthday cake that you want. Actually, it’s great for any occasion.”

2. Caffeinated London Broil
This was delicious recipes and it came very close to being the number one recipe. Although it can be messy, the flavor of the London Broil was off the charts.

1. Italian Choco Coffee Wedding Cookies
Just writing the name makes me crave these delicious cookies.

Have you tried any of the recipes? Is there any coffee recipes that you’d like to share or like us to investigate?

The coffee jello looks really interesting. I think I’ve heard that Starbucks tried something like this as a desert in Japan but I don’t know for sure. I know that I’d enjoy giving coffee jello a try! (In the summer though – not now when it is so cold out).

When I was looking for coffee jello recipe, I came across a passing mention of the Starbucks coffee jello. I’m 100 percent they should bring it here.

I highly recommend it all, but maybe waiting on the grilling until the snow melts a little.

I love coffee, and I love bourbon/whiskey/scotch, but I like coffee with a little cream and bourbon with a lot of ice!

I have really wanted to try some recipes with coffee in them, especially steak, I think both have a boldness that would compliment each other….

You sound like you have the same tastes as me! Both of the steak recipes were good, depends on really how much coffee flavor you want in it. The coffee encrusted steak definitely has more coffee flavor.
