You sound like you have the same tastes as me! Both of the steak recipes were good, depends on really how much coffee flavor you want in it. The coffee encrusted steak definitely has more coffee flavor.

I love coffee, and I love bourbon/whiskey/scotch, but I like coffee with a little cream and bourbon with a lot of ice!

I have really wanted to try some recipes with coffee in them, especially steak, I think both have a boldness that would compliment each other….

The coffee jello looks really interesting. I think I’ve heard that Starbucks tried something like this as a desert in Japan but I don’t know for sure. I know that I’d enjoy giving coffee jello a try! (In the summer though – not now when it is so cold out).
