  1. I love the complexity involved in bringing a coffee bean from the field to drying to roasting that’s hard work. And then if that wasn’t enough you have to properly grind and brew to capture the flavor and notes of the roast profile. Coffee so worth the wait!

  2. Wouldn’t be a day without it! I have it several times a day and I am immersed in coffee, love to read and learn also.

  3. coffee is my only real friend :)

  4. I love coffee because it wakes me up

  5. I love coffee because it wakes me up in the morning.

  6. I don’t love coffee. I do love GOOD coffee. Thanks to a wonderful hubby who has a wealth of knowledge about coffee, I’m able to notice the difference.

When I can taste the subtle flavors in a cup of coffee, it makes me happy.

  7. I love buna, because it allows me to spread awareness not only of the trade, but causes associated within the communities, and it allows me to be connected with other great minds!

  8. I love coffee because it keeps me focused :)

  9. kirsten klink rodrigue

I am obsessed with the taste of coffee!

  10. What I love about coffee is that it’s like an old friend greeting me first thing in the morning. In the case of a new blend, I get the added bonus of the unfamiliar to get acquainted with. Either way, coffee is the anchor to my day.

  11. What do I love about coffee? That’s like asking what do I love about life! It is enjoyable, comforting, indulgent, tempting, adventurous, and worth going the extra mile for (a good one, that is).

  12. I love the smell of coffee. The bite of the bean. The whole process of coffee is art to me.

  13. I just enjoy coffee. I like the ritual of making coffee. I like the smell when I open the bag, the measuring out of the beans and the sound they make as they pour into the grinder. I like the extra burst of scent when I open the grinder, and the coffee smell permeating the air as it brews.

I like the steam as I pour from pot to cup – and the way the cream swirls a design in the cup as I add it and stir it in – and then that first morning sip, hot, strong. . . Indeed a gift from God. :)

  14. You mean there is something to drink ‘other’ than coffee?

  15. Everything?! is that too simple, do I need to say more? It’s an adventure to find a goodly made espresso & I love coffee adventures…I would not be the typically happy person without a shot or two a day – of espresso…I adore Barista’s & Coffee People & Coffeeshops – especially ones accidentally found in foreign countries…Oh my, see–my list could go on & on?! Thanks for the chance to win Free Coffee?! :o )

  16. My parents gave me my first cup of coffee when I was seven because my doctor recommended it for hyperactivity. I’ve been a devoted addict for thirty-seven years. I’ve not only learned to enjoy good coffee, I’ve learned to treasure it. Coffee has gotten more and more expensive, for good reason, and fair trade is finally becoming the norm rather than the exception. Even though my tastes have run the gamut I still discover something new in every cup. Coffee is, all at once, mini-vacation, energy restorer, palette pleaser and even medicine for this hard working artist. Winning a supply would help me and give me a little more motivation that I need. Thanks, Mike, and have an awesome, trimethylxanthine filled day.

  17. I love that coffee wakes me up, keeps me alert, and tastes so good. I love having a variety of coffee and trying lots of different kinds. I enjoy learning new things about coffee and writing about what I learn. I very much admire what you have done with your blog here and would welcome a guest post on my blog if you are interested.

  18. I love the smell of coffee brewing, there is not a better way to sit and relax without a hot cup of coffee. I love french vanilla the best that is freshly ground using my grinder. To top it off I use some french vanilla syrup. Every cup is perfect. I love to use an old time coffee pot on the stove but they are hard to find anymore. I also love iced coffee. It is my ideal way to start and finish every day.

  19. I absolutely love coffee. I have some in my coffee pot right now waiting for me to drink. Any time of day is fine w/ me. I hope you all have a good day.

  20. Coffee is a way of life where I live. It connects me to the past, present and future. It reminds me of my grandmother, who taught me to drink coffee milk at a very young age, and I still enjoy it today :) Coffee is love.

  21. The wide spectrum of flavors and endless varieties. Coffee never gets boring.

  22. I love drinking coffee for the varied and complex tastes first and foremost.

Having the taste and smells to look forward to as part of my daily routine is just an added bonus. When i’m sat at my desk sipping my coffee, i can pretend that i’m travelling around one of the exotic country of origin, and it makes my day that little bit brighter.

  23. Of course coffee is great for helping you get up and out in the morning, or helping you relax and unwind after a crazy day. It’s also awesome for bringing friends together or even a new couple out on a first date. But I love the science behind coffee. I love how I can take the same bag of beans and make it 10 different ways and bring out 10 different tastes. Whether I use my press pot, moka pot, Chemex, Clever Coffee Dripper, or even a good ol fashion Mr Coffee drip, I always enjoy a different outcome. I like to experiment with different grinds, temps, filters, immersion times, coffee to water ratios…. And I always use a scale to make coffee! I think I have more fun finding different ways to brew coffee than actually drinking it (well, maybe not).

  24. I just couldn’t make it without my coffee everyday. On ALOT of meds. that make me drowsy and coffee is my resue EVERYDAY! I make 2 pots everyday.

  25. I love coffee because even on the worst days I know I can depend on a sweet and warm cup to boost my mood and energy. It also provides a great foundation to a meaningful dialog with my customers as a Barista.

  26. I love everything about it: from my early memories of Grama with her perpetual pot of coffee on the stove and fixing me a “junior” version with lots of milk to now having just about any coffee apparatus available to fix as my whim should dictate. Live to drink coffee or drink coffee to live? I say live to drink coffee!!

  27. A world without coffee would be, well just a world.

  28. it helps me relax

  29. coffee is just so comforting. It’s one I’ve had for many years now; it’s followed me through thick and thin, bad health and good. During chemo, being sick, being tired, coffee has been one of my constant companions. And, I hope to enjoy many more years smelling it’s wonderful aroma, sipping it’s loving contents and being buoyed by caffeine.

  30. What I love about coffee is the way it brings me and my friends together in the morning. Nothing is better then taking the kids to school and gathering on the couch with good friends and great coffee!

  31. It gives me energy, it is enjoyable and it smells delicious! :-)

  32. I Am What People Would Call A Coffee Snob, A Lover Of Fresh Ground French Roast All Morning Long….Then Onto a Wonderful Half/Cafe Blend….Later In The Afternoon I Indulge In A Smooth Tasting Decaf…Yes Everyday…But I Don’t Hog It All I Share With Family Friends & My Independent Contractors…(Who Doesn’t Love The Varies Rich Flavors, The Morning Boost or The Relaxing & Enjoyable Taste?) Coffee #Rocks

  33. the taste! (but not the morning breath)
need a yummy morning pick me up

  34. I love the smell and taste. I love that I can have it black or with sugar and cream. I love that it keeps wakes me up in the morning. I LOVE coffee

  35. I love, love, LOVE the earthy, bitter taste; the coffee shops that spring up around it; the whole process of coffee, bean to cup!

  36. So great a contest! There is nothing as good as the first cup poured in the morning. I love that moment every morning.

  37. i love the way when you tried on the 11-7 shift and you hace some coffee to wake and keep you moving

  38. Coffee is a good friend, it doesn’t talk back, it won’t leave you in the middle of the night, it won’t get jealous of the other beverages in your house!

  39. Coffee shakes my whole being awake. It draws loved ones near like a warm fire on a cold, crisp fall day. It pulls me through the sludge of tired mornings and the drowning fatigue of late afternoon. Coffee is necessary.

  40. I love coffee because it smells and tastes so great. I also love it because it’s a great incentive to gather friends or family around and spend time together.

  41. I love the smell and the wonderful rich taste of coffee. I work very long days taking care of human patients during the week, and volunteer at a wildlife rescue rehabilitate and release program with my animal patients and having coffee to keep me going is a must. I am however still in search of that ultimate coffee. I do a lot of brand switching so I am still searching ……
