What I’m Drinking – New York Coffee Park Ave (Take 2)

by Mike on May 13, 2009 in Coffee Reviews

NY Coffee - Park Ave BlendNew York Coffee Park Ave Blend – 4 out of 5 Coffee Cups

In my first review of New York Coffee’s Park Ave Blend, I wasn’t too kind. I compared it to Folgers coffee because beans tasted stale and the flavor was lackluster.

Afterward, Ronald, a representative from Coffee For Less, the online store that I bought it from, reached out to me and offered another bag to try. They didn’t have to go out of their way to give me another bag, but I’m glad they did.

Even though, they sent me ground coffee this time, the results were a lot more positive. Yes, the ground coffee tasted a lot better than the whole beans I sampled the first time.

This time the caramel and vanilla was more rich and defined. The coffee tasted a lot more bold and woke up my eyes.

I could see myself drinking the Park Ave Blend on a regular basis. Today I used it to make iced coffee. I mixed in some sugar, added some coffee flavored iced cubes, poured in some milk and it made for a delicious drink on this ninety degree Florida afternoon.

I still have three more reviews from New York Coffee coming up, their Broadway Blend, 44th St. Blend and the Lexington Ave Blend.

I’ll be ordering from Coffee For Less again, the customer service has been great and definitely exceeded my expectations, something you don’t see too often.

Try the New York Coffee introductory offer for yourself:
It includes:

  • Broadway Blend- A cuppers delight – a combination of 2 roasts- a medium roast and a dark roast to create the ultimate cup.
  • 44th St Blend- Enjoy the sweet intense flavor of Butterscotch and toffee without the calories.
  • Lexington Ave Blend- The ultimate dessert coffee- a crème brulee combined with a rich chocolaty Fudge.

There’s an option to get all four bags with a thermal mug for $18.95 or with the electric mug for $24.95.

I was a little skeptical at first, but this definitely turned into a great deal for the price.
