This morning I woke up with the Community Coffee House Blend. If you like Starbucks coffee, but are looking for something with less of dark roast taste, you’ll enjoy this one.
The House blend is a mix of Colombian and Brazilian coffee beans that are roasted to a medium dark level. The describe it as creating an “extraordinarily balanced” taste with a “profoundly rich and smooth flavor.” The dark roast comes through predominantly in the aroma.
As far as the flavor, itt wasn’t what I would call bold, but it was enough to pick me up and get me moving on a Monday morning.
One reviewer said it changed her from a Starbucks drinker to a fan of Community Coffee. It has a smooth, dark roast taste that actually reminds me of some of the Starbucks coffees, butI wouldn’t go as far to say that I’m never going to Starbucks again.
What I really liked about this coffee was lingering taste that made me want to savor every sip.
There was hint of nuts and a slightly smokey taste, but it was the deep coffee flavor that really made this coffee a winner. Add this to my list of coffees that I would have no problem drinking every day.
I liked this coffee, it’s a quality coffee, but there wasn’t much that made this coffee stand out. I’d recommend their Cafe Special first, but either way they’re both good coffees.
Overall, I gave it a solid three out of five coffee cups rating.

I still haven’t tried this brand. Since you compare it at times to Starbucks-do you think it has less of an “over-roasted” taste? I like bold dark roast coffees, but I have always found the Bucks to be a bit burnt…but you do mention that this is smooth.

I think there has hints of that over roasted taste, without being over roasted (if that makes sense). This one was really smooth, but it also wasn’t super dark roast either.
