I’m not a big Buger King fan, the food really doesn’t do it for me and the King kind of creeps me out. However, I’ve had some friends that have insisted that I have to try the BK Joe, so I finally gave into the peer pressure.

The initial taste was just like chocolate milk, it reminded me of the 7-Eleven Iced Coffee drinks, than anything else. But after a few sips, I could taste a difference. Unlike the 7-Eleven version, the BK Joe has an actual coffee taste. I couldn’t find out any information if it’s actual coffee, but it does have the taste.

That being said, it’s not the greatest coffee. It reminds me of an over roasted coffee, with a bitter and bold taste. However, if you can get past that, or if you like your coffee dark, it’s not a bad drink.

I enjoyed the chocolate (I wouldn’t go as far as to call it Mocha) taste, and overall it was the best part of the meal, definitely better than the food. I’d still go with Starbucks, McDonald’s drinks, or even better yet make my own Iced Coffee drink, but it was a drinkable alternative.

I gave it a two out of five rating, because I could see myself drinking it again, but not really because I thought it tasted great, more because I would drink it if it was a convenient option on my way to work.
