What I’m Drinking – New York Coffee Broadway Blend

The Drink: New York Coffee Broadway Blend
Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 coffee cups
The first time I tried New York Coffee, I wasn’t impressed. I tried the Park Ave Blend and it tasted lifeless to me. However, I tried it a second time with a different bag and the results were more positive. This week, I gave their Broadway Blend a shot. The results were also on the plus side, so I’m starting to think that I’m becoming a fan of New York Coffee.
They describe the Broadway Blend as a mix of dark and medium roasts. When I tasted it, the darker roast dominated. If you like a dark roast, you’ll probably enjoy sipping on this coffee, but if you’re looking for something that is more of a medium roast, you’ll want to try one of their other flavors.
You may think I’m crazy for this, but I tasted subtle hints of zucchini and I liked it. There was also some chocolate in the after taste.
The overall taste was smooth and easy to drink. It’s nothing life changing, but I could see this being an everyday kind of coffee for me.
Individual bags of Park Ave Blend are for sale or it can be bought as part of one of the New York Coffee introductory offers via the Coffee For Less website.
The introductory offers includes four bags of their different blends, as well as a thermal mug for $18.95 or an electric mug for $24.95. For that amount of coffee, it’s a deal that caught my attention.
If you order from Coffee For Less, use coupon code CFL for 5% off.
I still have two more of their coffees to try, the Lexington Ave Blend and their 44th Street Blend, so look for those in the near future.
