Win Daily Shot Of Coffee

So who wants to win some coffee? Hopefully, a lot of you raised your hands because to celebrate Daily Shot Of Coffee’s two year anniversary, I’m going to give one lucky reader a bag of our official coffee. I wish I could give every reader a bag, but there’s just too many of you awesome readers! Someday, I’ll be able to afford that, but not yet!

The randomly chosen winner will walk home with a pound of  Wake Up Call. If you’ve already tried Wake Up Call from the Daily Shot Of Coffee store, you know that this is a delicious, very caffeinated way to wake up! If you haven’t tried it, this could be your chance to taste the best beans that I’ve ever had from Nicaragua.

This coffee is like a wake up call for your brain. On the Monday morning we tasted this delicious coffee, I knew I had a winner instantly. Not only did it have a great taste, but it helps create great ideas and clear thinking.

These coffee beans come directly from the Selva Negra Coffee Estate in Nicaragua. This coffee is sustainable coffee, Rainforest Alliance certified, organically grown, bird friendly and shade grown, in the highlands of Nicaragua’s Matagalpa region. The quintessential Nicaraguan Estate coffee has a perfect triangular balance of body, flavor and acidity. It’s grown micro region in the Maltagalpa area with a very unique soil and climate. This coffee is highly dependant on the roast. The depth of this cup tends to increase as the coffee cools. Selva Negra is a sustainable coffee plantation that welcomes tourists! From the food on the table in the lakeside restaurant to the electricity in the quaint half-timbered cabins, everything needed to run this little kingdom is produced at Selva Negra.

This coffee is proudly custom-roasted by Good Dog Coffee Micro Roasters. It will be roasted only after you order it. It doesn’t get any fresher! Remember, that you decide the roasting and grinding levels.

Normally, a pound of Wake Up Call costs $11.98, but for that lucky reader that wins, it’s 100% free.

  1. Congrats on your 2 year anniversary, Mike! Pick me, pick me! Why? Cuz I’m a coffee achiever and one of your biggest fans. Carpe Java! :-)

  3. Ami Rodriguez says:

I’m not a morning person, yet I am forced to get up and work early. A bag of “Wake Up Call” would sure ease the daily grind!

  4. Afton F says:

I deserve to win because my best friend and my rat terrier drink all of my “daily shot of coffee” coffee! I need to more so I can have some too!

  5. howard says:

the reason to pick me is that i’ve never tried this coffee Mike
AND it’s….organically grown… who else would appreciate it
    the way i’d appreciate it?

by the way, the bag of Puerto Rican coffee i had you send
me from the ‘Good Dogs’ was very fresh.
    they did a fantastic job.

  6. Gavin says:

I’ve been scouring the web looking for coffee reviews and stumbled upon the daily shot. Why would I love to have a bag of this wonderful stuff? Because of Liberty, Mike. Liberty.

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of a java buzz that helps stimulate the mind is what makes America great. I fear that if I’m not stocked up with wonderful organic coffee the terrorists will win, and under their victory flag will sip tea with a spoonful of malevolence.

  7. Because I’m currently drinking FOLGERS!!!! since I ran out of Wake Up Call and had to get something in an emergency caffeine crisis!

  8. Steven Rodriguez says:

Every now and then I make coffee for my wife (Ami) and she says it’s better when I make it. I use normal brands of coffee but if I had “Wake up Call” she would really be HAPPY becasue it’s the best and I made it for her.

  9. Melanie Kramme says:

I drive 60 miles to work on major freeways each day in the SF area and need to stay awake so I can keep reading good coffee blogs like yours.
    Submitted with a smile

  10. Mike says:

The reason you should pick me is for a variety of reasons. First off, coffee is a passion, is a way of life and is constantly on my mind. I am always looking for ways to learn more about it, from brewing to roasting and my thirst for that knowledge is always there. Secondly because I will use the prize (pound of coffee) as a way to introduce good coffee to someone who thinks coffee is coffee. I will be like Spiderman in a way, with great coffee comes great responsibility, Spiderman says, with great power comes great responsibility. I will use your coffee for the great good, and that is why I deserve it!! Thank you for this wonderful blog and vast array of information, it is something I look forward to everyday!

  11. David says:

Well, I really think you should pick me. I am in Costa Rica at the moment (legal resident of Michigan) and they say the coffee is great here. It is just that I don’t drink coffee. Maybe the Good Dog coffee from Nicaragua would make me a coffee drinker. After all, isn’t it your aim to get more people to drink coffee? My children drink it and I will be taking home to them the Peaberry AA coffee from Tres Generacions (Three Generations) next month. That is supposed to be a premium coffee but, alas, I am not a coffee drinker and I can’t comment on that. I know a coffee producer in Nicaragua in Las Manos at the border of Hondouras. Of course he thinks his is best. It is called El Negrito. So, my name is in the hat.

  12. joe hessinger says:

pick mike as I know him to be very sincere and truthful…

  13. Diane Baum says:

I would love to win because I seriously need a wake up call!
